Corporate Social Responsibility
Corporate Responsibility activities of GSW are concentrated on supporting socially disadvantaged children and young people
Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) refers to the ongoing sense of responsibility within a company, or within a company's management, taking a balanced view of economic, ecological and social factors.
For GSW, these are basic values that define our actions.
The measures from the focus "children and young people" can be assigned under the following functional points:
- GSW supports the balanced social development of city areas
- GSW supports initiatives concerned with constructive leisure activities for children and young people
- GSW is committed to needy children and young people
- GSW support initiatives aimed at developing the city and for preserving the architectural cultural asset that is habitation in order to meet its responsibility for the history of urban development in Berlin
- GSW promotes the principles of fairness, transparency and training in the German real estate industry
- GSW is involved in the debate on housing policy issues, on wealth creation, retirement provisions and mobilising property as a capital investment product
- As one of Berlin's major housing companies, GSW acknowledges its ecological responsibility
