Nowadays, all GSW activities revolve around the customer. This customer focus is based on various customer satisfaction surveys as well as internal studies designed to evaluate the company's own services for customers.
The tenant social services were expanded.
Other activities in this area included improving the telephone access, expanding the help-desk team as well as a mobile customer callout service with local tenant offices.
The newly established GSW Club with the GSW customer card for members along with the customer magazine "WohnRaum" represented further activities. Successful campaigns involving housing offers to specific target groups were also conducted.
By the summer of 2007, GSW has over 78,000 supervised residential units at its disposal. Out of this total, it owns 52,800.
